La Maison de la Vanille
When a pastry chef’s big day coincides with her son’s release from rehab, mother and son are forced into a confrontation that will unveil the disappointments they harbour for each other.
The film stars Susan Gallagher (Cobra Kai, Loki, Queering) in the leading role of Julie. The short was shot in Rhode Island, Fall 2021.
La Maison de la Vanille had its 2022 world premiere at the BAFTA & Academy Award qualifying RIIFF.

This micro-short was filmed during the pandemic with little more than a camera and a couple props. The film features a score by Cormac Bluestone (It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, The Cool Kids).

'NAM’ tells the story of Adam, a young man being treated in the Bruckner family home for his inability to either speak or comprehend language. The film offers a portrait of family life in the 1950s and examines how its members orient themselves around a man's languageless condition.
Most recently Winnie Soldi was recognized for ‘Best Screenplay’ at the San Benedetto Film Festival and ‘Best Performance’ at the Amarcort Film Festival, with a committee including Donald Sutherland, Milena Vukotic, Gianfranco Angelucci, and Alessandro Benvenuti.

Based on Walter Murch’s translation of Curzio Malaparte’s short story, Murderer follows a young Italian soldier in the First World War, who is tasked with the challenge of mercy-killing his comrade after he’s been injured by a grenade.
