Winnie Soldi

Winnie Soldi is a bilingual (Italian-American) actor and writer. He grew up in Florence, Italy, and subsequently moved to New York City to earn a BFA in Drama at NYU - Tisch School of the Arts.

Recent acting credits include Kenneth Branagh’s A Haunting in Venice, Gabriele Salvatores’s Napoli/New York, and Fox Nation’s American Dynasty.

As a writer, his narratives often explore the nuance and meaning of a mixed and conflicting identity through character-focused dramas and horror. Never feeling completely at home within one cultural context, Winnie likes to write characters who don’t fit in, outcasts of different backgrounds that challenge the notion of being boxed into a specific category. His experience as an actor gives him a unique approach in constructing characters along with a pragmatic on-set knowledge that lends itself well to low-budget ventures. His scripts have placed in numerous competitions such as Screencraft, the ISA's Fast Track, and been featured on Coverfly’s Red List. In 2024 his script AUTUMN GOLD won the Bronze Prize at the PAGE awards in the Drama category.

He’s always excited to collaborate with new people, whether it be as an actor or writer. Feel free to shoot him a message!
